Junior Athletics Programs

We want you and your children to stay fit and healthy and have some fun in the process.

The Athletics Department has created fun seasonal fitness programs for your children including Junior Squash, Junior Kid Fit, and Junior swim or Family swim. Classes help your children learn the early benefits of exercising and having fun. Our great instructors incorporate all areas of fitness into your child’s exercise choice. All jr classes require advanced registration. Get your child excited about health and fitness. Kid Fit PLUS classes will challenge your child with safe and fun exercises to increase balance, strength, coordination, and endurance. Classes are held on Saturdays.

Junior SWIM

Weekend Jr Swim classes are a fun eight-week instructional program structured to help beginners, intermediate, and advanced swimmers of all ages. For program dates and more information about our junior swim classes please contact the athletic desk at 312.696.2265.


Jr Squash classes are designed to teach children about the game of squash, safe racquet skills, and squash fun. The junior squash program runs weekends and Tuesday after school classes are available for advanced and intermediate players at 4:45 p.m.  The Tuesday advanced class is invitational only and program must be registered in advance.

Registrations for classes may be made one week in advance. Please register for the weekend junior squash classes by Friday at 5:00 p.m. Same day reservations will be accepted only if there are spots available in the class. You must cancel any registration by 5:00 p.m. of the previous day or else be charged the full program fee.
There is also an advanced junior class on Saturday and Sunday which is for tournament ready players and is invitational only. Please contact Mark Heather at athletics@ucco.com with inquiries.
